talk to a lawyer. What you might need instead is to send an explanation that the last time you were admitted is the date stamped on your passport/I-94. The date mentioned in your I-485 is the last date of entry after a non-stamping readmit using visa revalidation etc.
I have received RFE for very similiar situation. I entered through Niagara Falls

Just like *ranga*, *billa* also has a story.
billa went to Texas A and M for his Mechanical Engineering and then moved into a lucrative job at a world famous oil company in Houston. His company has offered him a permanant job and offered to do his Green Card. But they don't know he will be leaving his job to go to Dubai because of Green Card logjam and uncertaainity that prevails.
Lets help to keep Billa and Ranga in the US. Lets all go to the rally

Can you start residency on EAD if you are the primary for 485? Meaning, can you use AC21 and change jobs from research to residency after 180 days from filing? Please help, really confused.

burden is not on you, but if your PD is current, your FPs are expired, then they are not gonna approve GC without having new FPs. And if they are not sending the FP notice, wouldn't you take effort to do something about it?

Who has gained any solace from Calling USCIS....
the tier 1 2, or 3 or Tier N at USCIS know nothing......
All we know ...there is bound to be delays...ther e will always be a few lucky ones getting receipts and stuff in a months time....but most of us like the GC process itself will be backlogged again....for receipts now....
I suggest we make IV our horse and ride it to end the problem at its source rather than calling USCIS and hoping for an Update from themmmm

I can't find any reference on this forum to E2 investors. We are the skilled, motivated entrepreneurs who come here, invest heavily, employ citizens and have no path to permanent residence. Our children must return to their country of origin at age 21, regardless of how long they have lived here. We ourselves must renew our visas regularly and live in fear of denial.
E2 investors need support in our quest for reform. Is there any room in your organization for us? We will go anywhere and do anything to raise awareness of the injustice of the current immigration laws. The DREAM Act was (thankfully) defeated yet again and should continue to be defeated until it includes all immigrant children, not just illegals.
Those of us who come here legally should be at the top of the list when it comes to reform. Can we band together to make our voice even louder?

If they do this retroactively, I hope they retro to 500 years back. Everyone from the congress and the president should deport their ass from where their ancestor's came from.
Its not just any Mark Krikorian, its our beloved 'bigot/racist Mark' - please make sure you always use that prefix or he will be very upset. He's already pissed that anytime the CIS' news releases are picked up by the newspapers/TV, they apparently describe CIS as merely an organization that wants 'stricter immigration' and deliberately leave out their illustrious founding by a courageous racist John Tanton. So - in confusion, ladys, jellyspoons , julia preston, nytimes et all - don't piss off our CIS ppl or they will deport your ass to wherever it came from! And don't think just because you were born here that you are safe cos there's a bill in the works that strips birthright citizenship retroactively!

Congressmen from hi-tech SF and CA.
That is why they may be using this tactic to bring pressure from hospitals from that area. Anyone from here spoke or wrote to these congressmen, that I posted in the other thread (http://immigrationvoice.org/forum/showpost.php?p=47625&postcount=1) at IV.
I doubt if the above three even know what the whole deal on these 90K visas is. where they come from, what are at stakes, who lost them, why they lost them etc things. I agree with you that we need to call these and let them know that these belong to EB, hence recapture them for EB and request them to allocate special 50K/90K to Schedule A

A while ago on one of the conference calls, if i remember correctly, it was mentioned that there wud be a team of ppl who would be aggressively calling up people and ask them to join.
First off am i correct? If i am correct, I was wondering if the same team could look at the contributions from the various members and call the "dormant" members up and ask them why they are apprehensive to contribute.

As we file our taxes jointly and hence instead of making advance payments/estimated tax payments quarterly, cant I just have my employer(w2 based) withhold more money from my paycheck every month?

When we went to renew our H1 and H4 together, they just asked for I797 for my H1B. When I reminded the girl collecting papers in the cosulate to attach I797 for my wife's H4, she said it was not necessary and just asked for marriage certificate. That is the only document they asked for to consider H4 extension. Hope that helps.

Female homeowners were also carrying around more aggravation, making less time for leisure, and were less likely to spend time with friends.
"Home ownership can be a much more complex idea than just a straightforward expression of what we call the American dream," says Grace Wong Bucchianeri, an assistant professor of real estate at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. The story was reported on Canada.com
But what about all the good stuff that comes with owning a home? Aren't homeowners benefiting from the security and independence of owning. Not really. The research shows that when you control for things like childbirth and income, the difference in contentment vanishes.
"I don't see any strong evidence that homeowners are any happier than renters," says Bucchianeri, whose 600-woman study is under review for publication in the Journal of Urban Economics. "On the other hand, they consistently report a higher level of pain — or what you might call negative feelings — connected to their home, and that's after controlling for all kinds of demographic characteristics, their financial situation, how many children they have and so on."
Bound to happen. Houses have been overpriced and House ownership has been way more expensive than renting in recent years. So if one buys a house there would be very little discretionary income to have a good life.

Doing smart things like this may get you deported from the US without any chance of return for 5 years . Be honest and follow the law .It against the law to work in one country and get paid in another .
